These Terms of Service govern your use of The Handyman Link LLC’s website and services. By submitting a service request or engaging our services, you agree to these terms.

1. About Us

The Handyman Link LLC is a licensed home improvement contractor serving the Lehigh Valley area of Pennsylvania. PA HIC Registration: PA177132. We provide residential repair, maintenance, remodeling, and related handyman services.

2. Service Estimates

  • All estimates are provided free of charge and are based on the information available at the time of assessment.
  • Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
  • Final pricing may vary if the scope of work changes or unforeseen conditions are discovered once work begins.
  • We will notify you of any changes before proceeding with additional work.

3. Scheduling and Appointments

  • Appointments are scheduled based on availability and confirmed via phone or email.
  • We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
  • Repeated last-minute cancellations may result in a scheduling deposit being required for future appointments.
  • Saturday and Sunday appointments are by arrangement only.

4. Payment Terms

  • Payment is due upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • We accept cash, check, and major credit cards.
  • For larger projects, a deposit may be required before work begins. This will be clearly stated in your estimate.
  • Invoices unpaid after 30 days may be subject to a late fee.

5. Workmanship Guarantee

We stand behind our work. If you are not satisfied with the quality of our workmanship, contact us within 14 days of project completion and we will return to address any issues at no additional charge. This guarantee applies to our labor only and does not cover materials, pre-existing conditions, or damage caused by others.

6. Materials

  • We can supply materials or work with materials you provide.
  • When we supply materials, the cost will be itemized in your estimate.
  • We are not responsible for defects in materials supplied by the homeowner.

7. Access and Site Conditions

  • You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the work area on the scheduled date.
  • Please ensure pets are secured and the work area is clear before our arrival.
  • We reserve the right to stop work if conditions present a safety hazard.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Handyman Link LLC’s liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the total amount paid for the specific work in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. We carry full liability insurance — contact us for certificate of insurance if required.

9. Pennsylvania Home Improvement Law

As a registered Pennsylvania Home Improvement Contractor (PA177132), we comply with the Pennsylvania Home Improvement Consumer Protection Act. You have the right to cancel any contract over $500 within three (3) business days of signing. Written contracts are provided for all projects exceeding $500 as required by law.

11. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
